Responsibilities:

- Develop, customize, and maintain private and public Shopify apps.

- Work with Shopify REST & GraphQL APIs to build scalable features.

- Build custom app extensions and ensure smooth integration with Shopify stores.

- Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate app functionalities with themes and UX.

- Optimize app performance, security, and data flow.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and deploy app updates.

- Maintain documentation and follow best coding practices.

- Any other relevant task assigned by the management.

Key Requirements:

- Strong proficiency in Node.js, React.js, or Next.js.

- Experience with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, and OAuth implementation.

- Knowledge of webhooks, Shopify CLI, Polaris, and app extensions.

- Familiarity with MySQL/MongoDB and server-side development.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify updates, app store policies, and technologies.

- Ability to work independently and within a team.

- Capable of performing effectively under pressure.

Added Advantage:

- Experience with Liquid templates.

- Knowledge of AWS, Docker, or CI/CD.

- Prior experience developing Shopify public apps listed on the Shopify App Store.

Educational Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in CSE, CSIT, CSC, or a related field from a reputed institution.

– Educational qualifications may be relaxed for highly skilled candidates with proven expertise.

Experience Requirement:

- 2–3 years of professional experience in Shopify app development.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex coding tasks.

- Experience working in Agile environments to meet deadlines and deliver milestones.
