Job Summary:

Progressive Technology is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team within the manufacturing sector. Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
• *

Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• *

Lead audits (internal and external), including ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards.
• *

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, Supply Chain) to resolve quality issues.
• *

Analyze quality performance using statistical tools and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• *

Review and approve manufacturing procedures, inspection instructions, and control plans.
• *

Monitor and track non-conformance reports (NCRs) and follow up with appropriate actions.
• *

Support new product introductions by establishing appropriate quality processes.
• *

Train production staff on quality standards and procedures to ensure consistency.
• Required Skills and Qualifications:
• *

Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• *

Strong knowledge of quality systems and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
• *

Proficient in using quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, Pareto analysis, and control charts.
• *

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• *

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• *

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• *

Proficient in MS Office Suite and quality software tools (e.g., Minitab, QMS platforms).
• Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a quality engineering role within the manufacturing sector.
• *

Experience working in an ISO-certified environment is highly preferred.
• *

Prior involvement in supplier quality management is a plus.
• Working Hours:
• *

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• *

Flexibility for occasional overtime and weekend shifts based on production needs.
